
I am a 49 year old lady. I was a single stay at home mum to 3 children. Within my family life although my children are all grown up I help my son with his son twice a week. I can be flexible 5 days of the week. I am hard working and work long hours. I am organised and keen to learn new skills.
• I am extremely new to this role. During the short time I have been in the role I feel I was starting to understand some aspects of the role. I undertook audits, staff rotas, creating care plans and updating care plans. It was an in-house promotion.
• During this role I administered medication, ordered medication. Liaised with GP'S, district nurses, CAS, specialist nurses, cmht to name a few. Lead a team of care staff to deliver person centred care to our residents.
Monitored diet and fluid intake. Reviewed care plans. Liaised with family and friends of residents. Keeping up to date with mandatory training. Infection prevention and control practitioner with the care setting.
• All aspects of delivering a good quality of person centre care. Keeping up to date with mandatory training.
Working as part of a team. Assisting with personal care. Assisting with diet and fluids. Spending quality time with individuals with the care home. Infection prevention and control practitioner with the work setting.
• Working as part a team lead by nurses within the home. Leading a team of care staff to deliver quality person centred care. Assisting with personal care. Assisting with diet and fluids. Assisting with moving and positioning.
Completing resident observations and recording these on wham. Ensuring all documentation is correctly recorded before the end of each shift. Assist new staff members with learning the job role.
