
Energetic and enthusiastic person who is keen to develop a career as a teaching assistant. I have recently returned to education and followed an introductory course to work in school. Through education and employment, I have shown that I am a fast learner, adaptable and keen to develop new skill. I can work both as part of a team and independently, using initiative and taking on responsibility.
I was doing volunteer work in Firs Primary School Derby. I was going to school Monday and Tuesday full day. Completed 200 hours in school .I really enjoyed working with young people and children. Worked with teacher to support class and supporting with day-to-day activities. Helping students who need extra support with their learning. Assisting with lessons preparation ( e.g. Setting up materials, organising recourses.) supervising children during activities and during breaks. ( e.g. Play time, dining hall area.) Gaining hands on experience in school setting and making positive impact on children's learning. Have knowledge and experience of social educational needs, equal opportunities, midday supervision and importance of tailored support for learning.
