Responsible for the day to day financial operations and budgets which include the following :

• Management of the Profit and Loss account
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end financial reporting
• Management of the finances of our largest customer
• Managing the financial audits and coordinating with external auditors
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Payroll
• Cash flow management
• Bank payments and reconciliations

Working for various small businesses mostly through an Accounting practice covering the following :

• Accounts to TB stage
• Invoice processing both sales and purchases
• Payroll
• VAT returns
• Streamlining bookkeeping procedures improving accuracy and efficiency of financial record keeping.

Employed as the European Management Accountant covering :

• Consolidation of the management accounts for various offices based in Europe.
• Reporting the consolidated accounts to our HQ based in San Diego in US dollars
• Validating contracts

I initially started with this organisation on a temporary basis to set up a Finance Department which involved covering all aspects of the day to day running of that department. This involved :

• Setting up a robust finance system (Sage)
• Writing financial reports
• Producing management accounts on a monthly basis
• Budgeting
• Cost reports
• Project management
