2 years experience working with SEN,SEMH,ASD,ADHD and students with learning difficulties in a Secondary School environment. Supporting Teachers in classroom with behaviour management,admininstrative tasks,managing coursework and feedback. Working closely with a Year 11 ASD student leading up to GCSE exams using online resources and parallel teaching as well as bespoke learning to retain student interest. Planning and delivering 1 hour revision sessions for English Literature and Language for Year 11 SEN register students. Identifying needs of students and adjusting revision resources. Created handwriting Interventions and trained other staff how to deliver. Responsible for running of after school Homework Club open to all students. Actively encouraging students to attend to avoid detentions and give them guidance and encouragement. Implementation of behaviour guidances with support from detention team with zero tolerance for poor behaviour during the club. A proactive Keyworker to SEMH and ADHD students with EHCP plans in place. Regular interactions with parents and guardians by telephone, email and meetings to give perspective of learning and development needs and potential improvements. Assist with school trips ensuring safety of students is always a priority. Record all safety and welfare concerns that may come to light. Attend weekly SEN staff meetings. Cover for enrichment rooms in staff absence.
