Key responsibilities were to incubate the Insurance business from scratch by creating a strategic plan for organic and inorganic growth, building a team of Sales ,Practice and Delivery leaders, winning new logos and replicating the success achieved in Capital Markets.
  • Business Leader(Global)for Capital Markets(both sell side and buy side) with P&L responsibility, reporting into the CEO of Wipro BPS. Managing a revenue of over USD 100 million and a span of over 4000 people through multiple customer relationships(investment banks, custodians and private equity) at various delivery locations in india and abroad. Wipro was consistently ranked as a market leader in this space during this period by renowned industry analysts like Everest and HFS.
  • Global Delivery Head for Banking Operations responsible for service delivery and CSAT of multiple credit card, mortgage and investment banking customers.
  • Process Head for a Swiss Investment Banking Customer responsible for the service delivery and CSAT across the trade cycle.
  • Joined as a General Manager & Process head for a global credit cards client and subsequently went on to establish the COE for capital markets to incubate the business from inception.

  • Establishing Shared services centres / Centres of Excellence( COEs)/ Off shore delivery centres for approximately twenty of the world’s leading financial institutions including the largest American universal bank, the largest American investment bank, the largest American wealth manager, a leading American custodian, the largest American credit card provider, the largest Canadian transfer agency, the largest British Universal bank, the largest Swiss investment bank, a leading French investment bank, a leading South African bank and the largest Private Equity firm in the world.
  • Setting up, scaling and stabilising global delivery centres for financial services outsourcing in record time (through local hiring) in various global locations in countries like China,Mexico,Singapore, USA,Philippines, Poland, India etc.
  • Implementing innovative commercial and operating models based on client requirements eg fully outsourced, BOT, managed services, staff augmentation,captive takeover, utility, hybrid, etc.
  • Execution excellence resulting in high Customer CSAT by consistently achieving guaranteed productivity improvement benefits(beyond arbitrage) to the tune of 12 to 15 percent YOY to create value for clients. This was accomplished by embedding a culture of innovation and perpetual improvement implemented through process excellence and digital transformation. Pioneered the first use case of AI at Wipro by implementing it in the area of KYC. Similarly, implemented RPA at scale across various customer engagements.
  • Developed multiple industry specific domain led solutions in the areas of KYC, reference data, reconciliations, corporate actions etc. in collaboration with platform vendors to create outcome based managed services/ BPaaS offerings for customers.
