I am a GMC registered doctor with full licence to practise and a British citizen with unrestricted right to work in the UK, who has recently passed my MRCP Part 1 (UK). I completed my 12 month medical internship, after MBBS, in a large tertiary teaching hospital in Pakistan with rotations in General Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery and Urology. Here I regularly assessed and managed patients with acute and chronic disease, by working in a multidisciplinary environment to provide patient-centred care. I developed a particular interest in General Medicine and research opportunities to further my professional development and understanding of provision of excellent care in the NHS.
