
My current role is a bartender at The White Horse in Shrewsbury. My responsibility was a Kitchen Porter, I took great pride in ensuring all dishes were to a high clean standard. As much as I enjoyed the kitchen role I felt I wanted to develop confidence and people skills, which was when I progressed to a front of house role in bartending.
I have been a bartender consistently since that day and gained development through attending all training sessions held . I built strong rapports with regulars and made connections with new people which had a positive impact on the company and reputation.
Alongside bartending I was enthusiastic to work and continue learning which was when I began a Carpentry course in Shropshire over the foreseeable of a year. I was an Apprentice carpentry with experience assisting welders, carpenters and painters during construction. Proven success managing day-to-day labor duties and completing project assignments. Works hard to keep site tidy and hazard-free, transporting equipment and materials safely and securely.
I worked gutting out i place in town and working everyday 7-4:30 until they were unable to give me any more work as a labour ,i see my self as a grafter , very reliable and very loyal too the company i work for .
During my time at Holland Broadbridge my employer described me as having an outstanding attitude, strong work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for learning about the property industry. For the two weeks i was there i learnt people skills , sales advice and how to speak and maintain a professional persona.
I was a paper round boy for 3 years never missed a day unless it was known holiday and i always got someone to cover me , i was always on time and never late and got along with everyone i delivered too.
