Although I don't come from a traditional boating household nor do I have any experience within the line of work, I have always been interested in this way of life and is something I've thought about pursuing in multiple different aspects, this includes joining the navy which I have taken under consideration throughout the past year, due to the nature of my protective services course we have visited HMS Raleigh which made me come to the realisation that I'm not cut out for that way of life. This is why I am motivated in aspiring to qualify as a deckhand to work on superyachts. This lifestyle is everything aspect of which I am looking for at this moment in my life, the ability to travel the world and earn while doing so is the perfect combination. I am aware this lifestyle isn't as glamorous as the image it portrays but am I willingly to lean and work hard in order to achieve this goal. I am motivated and reliable and very grateful for any opportunities in which are open to me to help me start my career in this industry.
This job requires me to take responsibility of ensuring that the water requirements are safe for use, and the hot tub is maintained to a safe standard. The job involves me evaluating the hot tubs conditions and maintaining the highest level of hygiene so it is sanitary for the use of citizens. It also requires the skillset to measure and understand chemical readings to ensure that the waters chemical levels are within the safety requirements for use. I enjoy seeing the transition of the cleaning process and taking pride in y work to ensure the best service i can possibly provide.
