Governance and Assurance Manager
Key responsibilities
CQC Nominated Individual for a 14 bed Mental health Hospital and responsible for the oversight of the regulated care.
Leading service meetings with different service managers across the organisation
Responsible for the organisation’s infection control, Audits, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and governance.
Responsible for ensuring the organisation meets the different types of regulations we are legal required to work within
Key Achievements
Conducting service reviews across the organisation and putting together detailed plans to bring service improvements and developments.
Helping with the implementation of technology to help improve efficiency.
Redevelopment of the incident process to help lower incidents rates across the organisation and speed up learning
Implementation of detailed action plans to help aid learning and ensuring incidents do not reoccur
Bringing all the services inline with each over through processes to help create a less fractious and more together work place
Complete review and restructure of all meetings to create a better schedule to help information and data flow throughout the organisation, with a greater emphasis on quality improvement
Completing mock inspections for each service against regulations to identify what works well and any short falls that need to be addressed
Implementation of weekly safety learning sections within the bulletin to ensure learning is disseminated organisational wide instead of just service wide
