Samuel Palmer

I've always had a strong passion for film and music. I am constantly enthusiastic about both of these and always look for new experiences in the arts to seek out.

I frequent the cinema often and go to film festivals when possible to try and expand my experience in film, whilst also constantly trying to learn more about practical filmmaking and film theory where I can.

Additionally, I am in various different musical projects in which I write original compositions or fill in for session work.

Through gigs in Glasgow, I have also created healthy relations with promotion companies such as 432Presents, PCL and DF Concerts.

I spend my time playing guitar and drums, investing myself in photography expeditions, Munro hiking, bouldering and skiing.

I enjoy social situations and find myself to be quite outgoing, enjoying getting involved in any events where I can, but also enjoy time alone where I can really bury myself in a project.

I've also had 6 years experience in hospitality, which has made me a confident worker on the bar and in managerial positions, yet making sure I'm always approachable and friendly to all. I'm a quick learner on the job but never ashamed to ask for assistance where I deem it appropriate.

I also have had the luxury of being able to visit many different countries and experience new cultures which have made me appreciative and considerate of how others live.
