• I re-joined Princess Yachts as a Laminator and have been working there for the past nine years. I have worked all shifts required, including day shift, night shift (for six years), and for the past two years, back shift.
• During this time I have been working on infusion hull moulds; prep work, gelling, wet lamination, dry lamination, fitting core, bagging and resin infusion.
• I have worked incredibly hard to continuously improve my skills as a laminator/boat builder, with currently 13 years experience in this field of work.
• I’m seeking a position that requires similar work, but where I can also learn new things, experience new challenges, and grow within the company.

• Following the ending of my contract in Germany with Bootswerft Winkler, I returned to Plymouth and worked with South West Windows, a company I had previously worked for.
• I was here for 15 months before finding my way back into the boat building industry.

• This role required me to carry out many forms of laminating and boat building. The work ranged from vacuum infusion, wet lamination with vacuum, foam/core shaping, mould making, wet lamination, twill carbon finish, splash making for windows, etc. All small and large parts of the boat required in composite are made from scratch, sometimes with or without a mould. All aspects required to build a boat from start to finish were undertaken during this project.
• The boats I worked on are one of a kind customs. They are built to specific drawings, and hitting snags during build is a common occurrence that requires strong problem solving skills. I am used to overcoming problems during a build, making decisions that are structurally and visually best suited for the boat.
• Reason for leaving: The 5 month fix-term contract ended and the contracted work was complete.

• I arrived at Princess Yachts without any boat building experience and was brought in by my brother to be trained in infusion. I have now completed 70+ v39 structural trays and a number of v48 structural trays, also helping out on both the v39 and v48 hulls. I have a very good understanding of the process and can deliver the quality that is expected.

• Reason for leaving: I was offered a position to work in Germany for 5 months which was an offer I felt I could not turn down.

• I undertook full cleaning duties with a round of approximately 30 houses per day. I supervised a team of five other window cleaners, ensuring they were undertaking their duties to the highest standard possible.

• Reason for leaving: I was looking to build a new career with longevity and opportunities for growth and development

• I undertook general labouring work, assisting with the refurbishment of a local public house.

• Assisting trades people; plasterers, electricians, brick layers, tilers and completing general tasks asked of me.
• Complete adherence to health and safety requirements.
• Cleaning of the area at the end of each day.
• Reason for leaving: This was a six month position offered to me by a family friend to gain good experience. I gained valuable skills and experience during my time, all of which I continue to build on.

• I undertook a mechanics course through PSC where I gained experience with 2 garages. I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a working environment.
• All the practical work was always undertaken with supervision, which not only gave me confidence but also allowed me to correct any mistakes I made.
• I was a good team player throughout my time, always punctual and always willing to learn. I believed I proved my dedication as I had a great distance to travel daily to and from my placement, which meant I had to leave home very early to catch 2 buses to and from work.
• Reason for leaving: The reason for leaving PSC was due to the increased number of students joining, which meant there wasn’t enough cars in the college to supply everyone, with this lack of cars I was unable to undertake the work I needed to complete my course successfully.
