Samuel Berry

Working as a greenkeeper i gained multiple skills and improved skills that i already had, for example my communication and team working skills have increased as i shave to communicate to my manager (Head Greenkeeper) about any problems and to keep him informed on what going on and any other jobs i need to complete, team working skills are vital in my job as you are working in a team with other greenkeepers and to have a good morale and team chemistry is so important.

Working at the sports centre at Chichester college for my BTEC course I learnt a lot about how to set up for birthday parties and to constantly make sure that the area is tidy and food and drink is always available, i also developed on what i learnt in Business about customer service.

As apart of my work experience doing my BTEC in Business i had to work as a sales assistant at the college shop, part of this job was to check storage and stack shelves and when a customer came in make sure you are approachable and always trying to help them find the item they want, i also was taught how to work a till and understanding more about customer service.
