• Summary: Team worked on the various microbial properties of fagonia cretica. And tested it against certain bacteria and fungi.

2. Major project: Estimation of heavy metals in poultry feed and meat by atomic absorption Spectrophotometry.

• Supervisor: Dr. Sumbul Khalid February 2013-july2013

Summary:

• The objective of this research was to measure the concentration of heavy metals from poultry feed and chicken samples collected from different areas to determine if the concentration of heavy metals in poultry feed and meat are according to acceptable amount as told by WHO or not.

3. Major project: Raman spectroscopy: Non invasive technique for cancer detection

• Supervisor: Dr. Shaheen Shahzad Dates

• Investigated the application of Raman spectroscopy for the non-invasive detection of head and neck cancer using human blood serum samples. Analyzed spectral data using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) to identify disease-specific biochemical biomarkers and classify cancerous and healthy samples. Demonstrated the potential of Raman spectroscopy as a rapid, cost-effective diagnostic tool for early cancer detection.

I have taught English and Biology. Interned at the Geosciences Advanced Research Labs Government of Pakistan.
