Samiha Islam

I am a caring, enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate educator with a strong foundation in teaching early years. So far in my course and teaching experience, I have demonstrated excellent classroom and behavioural management strategies, all whilst fostering a nurturing and caring environment. I am able to easily and genuinely build strong relationships with children and co-workers, leveraging my professionalism and amicability traits. I believe that I am well-organised and resilient, consistently portray a positive attitude and I believe in reinforcing positive praise in my teaching, and establishing a nurturing and safe environment.

Furthermore, as a Primary School Teacher, I am eager to help all students learn and develop in academic, social and emotional areas, and I aim to always adapt my teachings to be inclusive for all individuals.

Lastly, I am committed to my professional growth with ambitions to further enhance educational impact through my own innovative teaching pedagogies.

• Passionate in creating and selling my own baking products for events - I have had paying customers
• Paid to work abroad in Germany to train other crew (shift manager position)
• Enjoy content creating and have a wide platform to exhibit my baking skills, reaching a wide audience
• Participated twice in National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC)
• Participated in The Challenge (EC programme by the National Citizen Service)
• Trained in Korean Martial Arts for 4 years and had experience in teaching martial arts
• Drama Ambassador and club host (secondary school)
• Chosen twice as Employee of the month at Five Guys
• Competed in large work-related event known as 'Five Guys Olympics'
