Key Achievements

  • Led procurement of EPR hardware devices worth £2.3M, including handheld devices, label printers, barcode scanners, workstations on wheels, EPR training centre kits, HP devices, and iPads as part of preparing our trust for EPR Go-Live in 2025.
  • Led trust wide EPR hardware gap analysis to comprehensively assess existing devices landscape and develop strategic EPR hardware devices model. This model recommended optimal number and type of devices required per ward, including desktops, monitors, workstations on wheels, handheld devices, label printers, and barcode scanners, to ensure efficient and effective clinical operations when we go live with EPR.
  • Led task force dedicated to developing standardized time and motion study template for efficient task measurement and analysis. This template was subsequently leveraged to strengthen EPR business case, highlighting its benefits in time savings and potential for redirecting resources towards higher-quality care. It also demonstrated potential for improved staff productivity and optimized time allocation.
