The consistent themes running throughout my career to date is working hard and public service. I have always been focused on how my work can contribute to the bigger picture, whether that has been helping to facilitate key decisions of senior leaders or helping to deliver justice to a group of wrongfully convicted postmasters.
The number one thing that sets me a part from other people is that my top priority is securing the right result and delivering an exceptional service.
I am responsible for opening conveyancing files for clients wishing to purchase and/or sell properties. I have a keen eye for detail, and can effectively communicate with clients and deliver a great experience where they feel that they have steadfast support throughout the process.

I was responsible for arranging logistics for key meetings in No11 Downing Street between the Chancellor, other ministers in government and key leaders of industry, including key players in the banking and financial sector.
One of the proudest achievements of my career to date was playing my part in helping to put right one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in British legal history - namely, the Post Office Horizon scandal.
I was responsible for the delivery of the communication of the new Post Office Horizon Financial Redress Scheme to the rest of government and the public, including the former sub-postmasters who were wrongfully convicted.
I worked as part of the team which helped to steer the historic legislation through Parliament which overturned hundreds of wrongful convictions. My job was to help deliver messages to the minister whilst leading Parliamentary debates to help him to confidently field questions from MPs.

I had the opportunity to cover as a Private Secretary to the minister responsible for the Post Office, and accompanied him to meetings with Postmasters and MPs. It was my job to take minutes and ensure key actions were followed up on with officials while rapidly responding to other pressures from colleagues keen to get the ministers attention.
Responsible for leading on the preparation and processes for Oral questions to the Law Officers in the House of Commons. Fully responsible for the putting together of the paper pack which ministers take into the chamber.
Responsible for leading on Parliamentary urgent questions – during my time in this job, I rolled out a new urgent question process which upskilled the department in how o to respond to urgent questions in light of their very tight deadlines. This was a great legacy of mine in this role.
I was responsible for organising the appearance of the Attorney General, the Solicitor General and the Advocate General for Scotland in front of the House of Lords Constitution Committee – this involved putting together their paper packs and briefing them with other officials in face-to-face meetings, and briefing the Law Officers before their appearance.

Outside of my work, I sit as a Magistrate on the Cleveland Bench in the Adult Criminal Court and therefore commit a number of days in the year to carry out my duties within the community
