I am a practiced teaching assistant with good time management, conflict resolution and relationship-building abilities. Focused on maintaining positive learning environment to promote pupil growth and development. Advanced with administrative software and confident in operating class equipment.
I have worked primarily as a 1:1 teaching assistant which has meant I have built positive relationships with the child and parents as well as professional relationships with my peers and external practitioners who would also work with the children.
I have been able to support other children within the classroom when they have shown anxieties or worries. This has been through talking, drawing and calming mindful techniques.
I completed my Bachelors of Art degree and my Foundation degree whilst working full time, alongside looking after my two children as a single parent.
