As a Student Occupational Therapist, I supported the assessment and treatment of clients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. I helped develop and implement individualised intervention plans and facilitated therapeutic activities to improve clients’ independence in daily living. As a Head Dental Nurse, I provided clinical support across a range of dental procedures while overseeing the daily coordination of the nursing team. I hold qualifications in dental radiography and impression taking, enabling me to independently carry out intraoral X-rays and take precise dental impressions. I was also responsible for conducting clinical audits, maintaining accurate and detailed clinical notes, and ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Throughout my role, I upheld high standards of infection control, patient care, and team communication, while fostering a respectful and efficient clinical environment.

As a Dental Nurse, I supported dentists in delivering a high standard of patient care across a variety of clinical procedures. My responsibilities included preparing and maintaining the clinical environment, assisting during treatments, ensuring effective infection control, and providing reassurance and clear communication to patients. I was also responsible for accurate note-taking, sterilization of instruments, and stock management. I worked closely with the dental team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm, patient-focused approach.
