• Coordinate with suppliers and fabrication teams to ensure timely production and delivery
• Schedule installations and allocate fitting teams in line with project timelines
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of progress
• Prepare and issue installation packs, including drawings, specifications, and site details
• Monitor project progress, resolving issues and delays efficiently
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, health & safety, and company procedures
• Manage variations, updates, and contract changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Support final handover, snagging, and completion documentation

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.

Automatic Doors, Shutters, Gates & Barriers

Estimator responsible for producing accurate, competitive quotes for repair, replacement, and installation works, using engineers’ reports to define scope and requirements.

• Review engineers’ reports to identify faults, required works, and specifications
• Translate technical findings into clear scopes, materials, and labour costs
• Prepare detailed estimates for automatic doors, shutters, gates, and barrier systems
• Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Liaise with engineers and project teams to clarify technical details
• Identify risks, compliance requirements, and additional works
• Produce clear, itemised client quotations aligned with company margins
• Maintain accurate records and meet tender/quote deadlines

Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness ensures accurate, compliant, and competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities

Enquiry & Client Management

• Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Qualify leads (scope, budget, timescales) and conduct site visits
• Maintain enquiry pipeline and ensure timely follow-up

Estimating & Quotation

• Measure, specify, and scope aluminium doors, windows, and glazing systems
• Prepare accurate, detailed quotations using Logikal, company pricing tools, and supplier data
• Select appropriate specifications, ensuring cost accuracy and target margins
• Present clear, value-driven proposals

Sales & Order Processing

• Follow up quotes and convert enquiries to orders
• Finalise specifications, issue contracts, and process orders accurately

Installation Coordination

• Produce installation packs (drawings, specifications, site details)
• Brief fitters and coordinate deliveries and installation schedules
• Support site teams and resolve on-site issues

Aftercare & Completion

• Manage client handover, snagging, and remedial works
• Secure sign-off, raise final invoices, and maintain accurate records

Estimator — Aluminium Glazing Systems

Responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for aluminium glazing projects, including windows, doors, curtain walling, and façade systems.

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define scope
• Measure and carry out take-offs for aluminium glazing systems
• Prepare detailed quotations using Logikal software, pricing tools, and supplier data
• Select appropriate systems, profiles, and specifications to meet design and budget requirements
• Liaise with suppliers, architects, and project teams to clarify technical details
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving options
• Ensure estimates reflect current material costs, labour rates, and target margins
• Support tender submissions and meet strict deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documentation

Aluminium Window Fabricator

Responsible for the fabrication and assembly of aluminium windows, doors, and glazing systems to precise technical specifications using CNC machinery alongside manual and power tools.

• Interpret drawings, cutting lists, and fabrication schedules
• Operate CNC machinery for accurate cutting, routing, and machining of aluminium profiles
• Use manual tools (hand tools, measuring equipment) and power tools for cutting, drilling, fixing, and finishing operations
• Cut, assemble, and finish aluminium window and door frames to tight tolerances
• Install hardware, gaskets, and glazing components to specification
• Carry out quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Maintain accurate production records and material usage
• Work to production targets while maintaining high levels of finish and attention to detail
• Ensure safe operation, maintenance, and housekeeping of all workshop equipment and tools
