• Assisting senior managers with preparing corporate tax returns from a diverse range of clients in different sectors.
• Research various tax issues and present my findings.
• Use tax software to manage data and filings.
• Assisting senior managers in tax advisory work.
• Using analytical skills in researching and analysing the potential tax implications of client transactions and business decisions.
• Involved in the take on process including conflict checks.
• The role has strong emphasis on client relationships, ensuring effective communications, understanding their needs and providing them with updates.
• Been involved in client meetings, contributing in discussions.
• Working closely with colleagues in a team, sharing knowledge and supporting each other on projects.
• Regular training sessions and team meetings to continuously learn and develop skills.
• Liaising with HMRC over various client issues.

Achievements

• Successfully passed my Accounting, and Assurance Certificate level exams for ACA.
• Received an outstanding contribution nomination from a manager for a piece of work I did, receiving a £50 gift voucher for my efforts.
