I'd like to think I am a very hard working and self motivated person, I know what my goals are and what I would like to achieve in a certain amount of time, I am extremely good with talking to others, and I carry myself with complete professionalism and charisma.
I am very confident in my work ethic, that I know if I set my mind on a task it will get done within deadlines, and it will be finished and completed to the best of my ability and it will meet standards required.
I can effectively work well under any pressure given, and I'm not the type to give up or fold under any amounts of pressure because of my experience and my mindset to focus on the task at hand, and to not let anything get in the way.
I am a very reliable and resilient worker, ensuring you can put your faith and trust in me, and not having to worry that It wont get done.
In my current role, I am responsible for making sure all customers that are using our service are having a positive experience, ensuring they are getting the most out of there time & money. I treat all customers with respect, and I always handle any situation whether that's a complaint, shop lifting or any sort of customer interaction with complete professionalism throughout.
As a sales assistant, I'm also responsible for answering any queries & questions given to me throughout the day by customers on a day to day basis. Making sure I answer to the best of my ability, and to give the most helpful responses & answers possible, to ensure a happy customer.
I like to give a personal welcoming message to all my customers, and a departing message after, I do this to build a rapport with all of the regular customers, and new customers too! This gives a more positive experience for the customer, making them feel welcome, which makes it more likely for them to return, and this alone will increase sales throughout, This would help create and develop long-lasting relationships with the customers.
Being around digital tills, and working with them throughout has had its many faults, However any problem I did run into I had dealt with, with ease, due to my good knowledge with computers, and knowing how to work around one properly, this was never an issue for me. I would say my computing skills are good.
As a young teen, I wanted to help out my local community shop as much as possible, So I asked if I could start volunteer work to help out, And to my surprise they let me. I worked here for near enough 2 years and a volunteer, and I loved every second of it. I learnt very good customer service skills, and as it was people from my community it made it that much better.
I would work 1 shift per week for 2 hours, as we had a rotating staff team of all volunteers.
I managed to pick up some pretty useful skills here, learning how to take payments and learning how to speak to customers properly. This helped me in the long run.
I then let this job go as I was starting education at college, and I did not quite have enough time on my hands.
I took Art, Design Technology & Maths and English as I was selected to take part in C.O.P.E. (The Certificate of Personal Effectiveness ) And achieved my Level 3 for it.
