As a Film Production graduate from the University of Salford, I have developed a broad range of creative, technical, and professional skills through practical filmmaking projects, collaborative productions, and academic study. My experience covers all stages of the production process, including pre-production planning, research, script development, scheduling, location scouting, risk assessment, and project management.
Throughout my studies, I have gained hands-on experience with camera operation, lighting, sound recording, editing, and post-production workflows using industry-standard equipment and software. I have developed strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of cinematography, composition, and narrative structure, enabling me to create engaging content across a variety of formats.
Working on group productions has strengthened my communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. I am confident collaborating with clients, contributors, and production teams while managing deadlines and adapting to changing project requirements. My university experience has also enhanced my organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Alongside technical expertise, I have developed critical thinking, research, and analytical skills that support creative decision-making and professional practice. These combined skills allow me to contribute effectively to film, media, content creation, and client-focused projects while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
