Sam Caldwell

This was initially a summer job, but at the end of the season, I was one of the few who moved to a year-round contract. Hard-working, diligent, flexible, and reliable with a good work ethic, often covering long shifts when others phone in sick, on top of my own rota. I have strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour, which have helped me as often face to face with customers.

Working as a delivery driver helped me progress my customer service skills, enhancing the company reputation. It also helped me become accountable as I needed to be precise in packing the correct orders to ensure customer satisfaction.

This was my first job. I worked under my mother, as it is her business, and I had a great interest in understanding a professional background. This has helped me understand how the day-to-day operations work in a professional business, which has been key to my drive to become a young professional myself.
