Specialised in Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for many years before a change of direction to non clinical nursing in 2014.
My career for the past 11 years has been with Continuing Healthcare (CHC) where i have been able to improve my skills from being a Nurse Assessor, PHB Lead to Operational Manager for CHC where i currently practice.

Adaptable and proactive for responsive staff and patient support. Prioritises quality care to uphold service standards utilising compliance systems, procurement of safe/efficient services to ensure people receive the right care at the right time in the right place so their needs can be met.
My role within the CHC team is to lead and manage the team to achieve the key performance indicators set down by NHSE utilising the NHS Framework for CHC. The majority of my current role is to foster good relationships with our stakeholders while implementing changes to the CHC processes.
Most recently the ICB has undergone some radical changes, as the team leader my responsibility is too align 2 CHC teams to serve one geographical area. This involves aligning processes, managing expectations and implementing change while reassuring the team their contributions are crucial to a good outcome.
