Summary

Having worked with the same trust for 24 years as a speech and language therapist progressing to being a specialist in my chosen field of autism and complex needs i feel that i now need a new challenge.

I am hard working and perceptive of the needs of others and my years of experience mean that I can draw on this to provide the very best care for the people I am involved with.

Having worked within schools I am aware of the need to work with them making communication the at the heart of what they do everyday rather than an add on that they need to spend extra time on.

My real passion is the assessment of autism and other neurodevelopmental difficulties and how trauma, can impact this. I have worked with professionals to home my skills in assessment using the ADOS and ADIR and feel that I am now able to differentiate between presentations.
