• Develop strategies for the company's decarbonization roadmap by benchmarking the corporate carbon footprint and proposing solutions to reduce GHG emissions (e.g., CCUS implementation, green hydrogen adoption, recyclables utilization).
• Oversee the implementation of decarbonization solutions to achieve targeted emission reductions.
• Supervise compliance with required certifications (e.g., ISO 50001, CBAM, GHG Protocol, EPD) to align with the decarbonization strategy.
• Represent and communicate the company’s decarbonization strategy at international forums and panels.

• Supervise daily activities of the Direct Reduction Plant and coordinate with other plants/departments to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental practices to achieve corporate H&S objectives.
• Analyze process conditions to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization; conduct feasibility studies for plant upgrades and cost savings.
• Troubleshoot operational issues to maintain continuous plant operations.
• Plan and manage the production and operations budget.
• Plan and oversee plant shutdown activities, including arranging required materials and services.
