Dedicated professional with genuine interest in providing exceptional eye care and improving patient outcomes. I possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient satisfaction. Committed to making a positive impact in my role as a Pre - Reg Optometrist. I am undergoing my final OSCE examination to then become a fully qualified Optometrist.
My role includes daily patient encounters, managing my own clinic and performing detailed eye examinations. While doing this I ensure that I provide personalised treatment plans whilst also working within my multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
My role as an Optical assistant greatly helped me with improving my communication with customers but also enabled me to help make informative recommendations and handle customer queries with the correct knowledge and professionalism. Working in this job as well as being a university student had also further helped me to strengthen my understanding throughout my education.
This profession had enabled me to use my communication to help students grasp both Maths and English by adapting my approach to each individual. Especially during COVID19 , classes had become online.I had taken on responsibility to help students stay motivated and persevere through the difficult period.
Excellent communication- due to exposure of various customers and patients through my role as an optical assistant and Pre- Registration Optometrist
Time management-With responsibility of having a clinic to manage, I have been able to manage my time accordingly while still providing my patients with the best quality of care
