I have been a doula for six families multiple times.

The first family I was a doula for was in 2005, and the last family was in 2024. Some families, I have been with them through multiple births.

  • I have helped 11 new mothers through their pregnancies, purchasing new-born essentials, and preparing their maternity bags before they get taken into the hospital.
  • I have also organized their homes by cleaning and adding furniture, as and when required.
  • I have then supported the mothers through their births/labour and been present after birth to help the mothers tend to the babies and look after the mothers to ensure that they are healthy and provide them with anything that they need, such as nourishment through food, and encourage any medications that they need.
  • I also pamper them and purchase more essentials if they need them.
  • I have been present through the baby's first month, and over the years, when required, I have been regularly checking in on them when parents require help, ensuring that they have all of their essential needs met, encouraging their development, and ensuring that they have all of their health appointments kept.
