A driven senior pharmacist working in gastroenterology wards and ICU, primary features of this role include: 

• Attending gastroenterology and ICU MDT and liaising cross-team with physicians (including KOLs) and nurses to provide the best care outcomes for biologic therapy patients and critically ill patients. 
• Providing medical information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Guideline and literature production and SOP review.
• Clinical proficiency, time management skills, formulary and funding knowledge.
• Mentoring of junior pharmacists, presentation and relationship building skills.

• An adaptable NHS junior pharmacist, with a wide breadth of clinical rotations including: medical information; cardiology; general medicine; endocrinology; paediatrics; OBGYN; respiratory; care of the elderly; and general surgery.
• Medical information experience using the CASP tool to critically appraise research and compile professional and timely responses to enquiries from patients and colleagues, completing literature searches, namely using EMBASE or MEDLINE.

12 month hospital pre-registration pharmacist based at Eastbourne District General Hospital & Conquest Hospital. 

• Providing a medical information service to medical teams, patients and pharmacists under the supervision of the lead medicines information pharmacist.
• Screening inpatient drug charts under the supervision of a pharmacist with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
