I am an articulate, self-motivated individual with a passion in technology and music amonst many other interests. I have spent the past three years working at Arvato Financial Solutions Ltd. During my time at the organisation I have swiftly developed from an apprentice helpdesk analyst to the position of technical analyst. both my technical and communication skills have flourished. Many of my colleagues have often commented on how approachable I am and how professional I conduct myself both on the phone and around the office. I am looking to continue developing my skills within the IT Industry and take on some exciting new challenges.

As Technical Analyst I am responsible for support and administration of all Microsoft Windows Servers across the business, acting as a 2nd line escalation point for service desk tickets, daily monitoring of core IT infrastructure using PRTG monitoring tools, reporting to key stakeholders in the organisation at board level.

  • Monitored & ensured ongoing operation of critical systems such as Veeam Backup & Replication & vSphere.
  • Effectively communicated with 1st line support team and proficient in resolving issues escalated in a timely manner.
  • Strong experience in SAN networking, most recently involved in architecting and implementing DELL PowerStore SAN.
  • Coming up with solutions to help fulfil the needs of the business and maintain client relationships, most recently implemented a media wiki platform to help meet a client obligation at no cost to the business.
  • Worked with colleagues overseas in Germany to help deliver a smooth transition from on premise to Office 365 - Hybrid environment.
  • Played an instrumental role in the organisations ability to continue operating remotely due to COVID-19 lockdowns by delivering key applications remotely via Citrix and working out of hours to ensure that the business could continue to function. As a result the organisation has onboarded several best in class clients.
  • Travelled all over the UK & Ireland assisting with new office set ups.
  • Attended regular Business continuity meetings with key organisational stakeholders.
  • Regular DR site testing, maintenance of data centre air con & UPS.
  • Negotiated huge discounts with key vendors such as DELL for new hardware.
