Summary

I am a compassionate and motivated mental health professional with six years experience supporting people across a range of mental health services. I am passionate about creating positive, inclusive team cultures where people feel supported to embrace challenges while prioritising their wellbeing and professional development.

One of my greatest strengths is building meaningful, trusting relationships. I take the time to listen, understand staff's needs, recognise people's strengths, and empower them to achieve their potential. I have a strong work ethic, thrive in challenging environments, and am committed to continuous professional development, encouraging those around me to learn and grow alongside me.

I strongly believe in co-production, person-centred practice, and reducing inequalities to ensure people receive compassionate, equitable support. Alongside my mental health experience, I have worked in counselling roles with Mind and Age UK as a trainee, giving me a solid understanding of counselling services and therapeutic practice.

I am naturally creative, curious, and fascinated by human behaviour and psychology. I am due to graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology in July, with a predicted 2:1/First-Class classification. I am also a fully qualified counsellor and hold a Level 4 Safeguarding qualification, enabling me to provide empathetic, person-centred support while maintaining a strong focus on safety, risk awareness, and professional standards. During my free time I run as an elite athlete under Salford Harriers, my goal is to run for Great Britain as an over 35. This demonstrates my longevity and resilience towards personal life and my natural competitive nature.
