Refurbishing old food machinery bought from other factory's and getting them to a good running state to be sold into the food industry. I have worked on grinders, mincers, conveyor systems, hoists, slicers, metal detectors and other food machines. The company would also sell new machinery through a sister company which had to be tested before sending out. I was also involved in some site maintenance and going out to other sites for repairs and installation.

Being the first call for breakdowns, regular servicing of machines, practicing lean manufacturing, kaizens and improvements to the site, managing online ticket system and keeping up to date with paperwork. Mainly electrical biased however good mechanical skills. Can use milling machine and centre lathe and some experience of TIG welding. Can fault find within electrical panels, good experience of pneumatics and hydraulic systems. Some experience of Omron PLC' programming and PLC fault finding. Company decided to move to the Netherlands so was made redundant.
Maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment, first experience of working in engineering at a manufacturing plant. Mainly working on lighting circuits, fire alarm testing and plant maintenance. Left due not feeling challenged enough and wanted more experience on machines rather than facility maintenance.

I am electrically biased with good
mechanical skills I have experience of working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's, some basic welding and
fabrication I have done some basic PLC programs as an apprentice on Mitsubishi and Omron PLC's I also did a lot of machining work using centre lathes and mills I believe I have a very balanced skillset in different disciplines
I have a wide range of skills but am looking for a permanent engineering position where I can progress increase my skillset I am very motivated, hard working and enjoy problem solving
