I have a high level of experience dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone. I have been able to build strong positive relationships with not only my colleagues but to customers also, with many customers asking me to help them by name. My current job role consists of:

- Having a wide knowledge across all areas of the store, including backdoor and warehouse, groceries, produce diary and general merchandise.

- Check out trained

- Fully trained in online picking for customer orders.

- Process turnarounds for dotcom allowing for orders to be processed in the write place. So orders are loaded onto the correct vans and on time.

- Dealing with customer complaints and queries

- Delegating jobs, such as promotional change, stock filling between colleagues

- Organising support for checkouts and dotcom if they are short staffed.

- Making sure the store is safe and guidelines are being followed.

- Being a listening ear for staff, note take for conduct meetings

- Rota changes

• Unloading deliveries from the lorries to the store, this includes ambient deliveries, diary deliveries, frozen deliveries and non food deliveries.
• Ensure that pallets, cages, cardboard, plastic and waste are reloaded back onto the lorries following the correct process.
• Ensuring that the warehouse and yard is always maintained to the highest standards and limiting health and safety risks at all times.
• Fully trained on using electric pallet truck
• Keeping deliveries flowing and maintaining turn around time.
• Keeping a level head with multi lorry deliveries in the yard and ensuring these all meet their turnaround times.
• Pest control in yard and warehouse and follow correct procedures.
• Checking invoicing against delivered items to ensure accuracy in record keeping.
• Processing parcels from partner organisations
• Facilitated smooth workflow by promptly processing incoming stocks.
• Replenished shelves as needed, helped maintain adequate stock levels at all times.
• Scanning in products using a barcode system to ensure stock levels are correct and are alligned to the company orders
