In 2025 I was approached by Bromford when carrying out some maintenance within there properties and encouraged to apply for a role directly with them which was further going to upskill me as a person. Bromford are a huge housing association within the Midlands who provide affordable housing, build communities and offer customer support. My new role at Bromford includes, water hygiene management, fire safety inspections, PAT testing, electrical repairs and general maintenance services withing Bromford sites.

In 2021 I decided that I would step outside my comfort zone and embark on a new career path with HBE who are a compliance company and I took on the challenge of becoming a water hygiene engineer. After a successful interview I was told that the company saw massive potential in me to become a success and within six weeks I was fast tracked onto the following courses.

My Role at HBE consisted of working with many different organisations including social housing groups, city councils, schools, universities, hospitality chains, industrial and commercial groups. Meeting many new people which helped to develop my customer service skills.

After two years with the company I was encouraged to apply for the supervisor role within the Midlands section of the company to which I was successful upon interview. My new role at HBE now consisted of new skills I had to quickly develop to ensure that I would become the best person for the job. These new skills that I developed were, leadership, communication, time management, delegation and emotional intelligence.

The Inspire Group I started out on a two year apprenticeship studying and getting hands on experience. At such a young age this role helped me to develop people skills as well as getting knowledge for the craft that I was embarking upon. Throughout my apprenticeship I gained lots of knowledge including, communication skills, teamwork, adaptability and problem solving. Once my apprenticeship finished I was taken on full time and become a mentor for the company within two years of the roll helping to develop young people. A lot of my work for the company included high level coaching sessions with hi spec tailored fitness programmes to individual needs, heightening exercise effectiveness.

Conducted sport-specific drills, maximising skill development. Finally after all my hard work and commitment to the company I became the head coach of the company within a three year period.
