Summary
- I have worked for soccer star coaching for a one week summer holiday camp in which I helped coaches with equipment or looked after the children taking part when the coach wasn't able to. I then continued this on a weekly course in which I was one of the main coaches setting up equipment and helping the head coach take control of lessons helping the children learn new skills, techniques and attributes to improve them at Football.
- I also took part in refereeing and coaching games individually which allowed me to further improve my confidence, leadership and communication skills which I was struggling with at that time.
- This will help me in a job like retail because I was able to bring leadership and communication when needed and was able to take control of sessions when necessary and would be able to handle misbehaving children which would give me the knowledge of how to manage customers problems and resolve their issues. I also have the capabilities of confident communication when talking to customers and my colleagues as I have worked in a team environment to get the best out of one another and achieve goals set.
- This also allowed me to work on health and safety as I needed the area that the children were going to play on to be clean and safe so they do not harm themselves. For example, when we would do sessions outside when setting up the equipment we would make sure that they do not have anything that could harm the children on them and keep them clean so they do not contract anything damaging to their bodies.
- I am a friendly person available for weekend, evening and holiday shifts. Considered hard working, punctual and driven. Eager to contribute to team success and willing to push towards the highest level possible and progress forward. Motivated to learn, grow and excel in any working environment.
