
I am a hard working, capable individual with excellent customer service and team leadership skills who is seeking an opportunity to develop in the transport supervision role. I am very organised and like to plan methodically to achieve tasks within the target timeframes I am given, striving for excellent team productivity, performance and compliance.
In my current role I over see the Transport Operation, which consists of 2 Transport Coordinators, 30 Drivers and 2 Yard Operatives. My duties include dealing with day to day issues, managing drivers working hours, schedules and reviewing tachographs. In addition to making sure health and safety is complied to all of the time. I also work with our Fleet Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure all vehicle maintenence is carried out as scheduled. I check the round KPI's on a regular basis to make sure we are getting the best optimised results out of all our routes. I currently hold a Transport Mangers CPC and I am named on the businesses operators licence.
My main duties in this role were, daily planning, re routing as well as reporting any issues or incidents to my transport manager. I also booked on collections/exchange jobs and debriefed the drivers at the end of their shift. As well as being their first port of call when any issues or queries arise.

During my time in this role I mainly worked in the confidential shredding warehouse where confidential waste was shredded. Occasionally I would also go on routes with drivers as a second man. These routes were normally trade waste bin rounds & box van journeys.
While working for the Best Connection Agency I worked at a few places. These were, The Coop Warehouse, as a warehouse operative. Before finally moving onto Premier Waste Recycling, where I worked as a Confidential Shredding Operative and Drivers mate, where I later secured permanent employment.
