in 2022 i became a advanced first aid trainer with nuco training. and hold my Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification and can teach a range of courses from first aid at work, FREC 3 with qualsafe, mental health first aid, fire safety and violence and aggression training. i am also a naloxone trainer having completed train the trainer course with Scottish drug forum

i have also been a community first aid trainer teaching community courses like CPR and how to use a AED since 2018

• Started working in the covid mass vaccination program during the hight of the pandemic to deliver covid and flu vaccinations and took a permeant post in November of 2021 to become part of the substantive vaccination team working across sites, housebound and care homes teams across Lothian
• Within the role I am also a work based violence and aggression trainer for our department and other local community teams working with nhs Lothian management of aggression team
• currently studying as part of the role to become a band 4 Assistant practitioner through Edinburgh collage and nhs Lothian clinical education team
• As part of studying and the role have worked as HCSW for community and intermediate care settings

Was an event first aider since 2017 till 2019 where i when got my FREC 3 qualification where after this I gained my FREC 4 qualification in February 2024 through amvavle. At events i have taken up roles like duty officers and team leaders working within a multidisciplinary team

regularity keep skills up to date by attending Events, completing ongoing related CPD courses through my main work at NHS Lothian like BLS, vital signs etc

• Ensured safety of swimmers by diligent monitoring of pool activities.
• Provided first aid where required
• Managed general housekeeping duties around the pool area for a pleasant environment.
• Coordinated with other lifeguards for efficient work flow during peak hours.
