During my placement in the Southampton General hospital, I have actively conducted comprehensive health assessments to identify patients' medical needs and determine appropriate interventions. My role involved assisting patients with daily activities, including eating, bathing, and fostering their independence whenever possible. I consistently contributed to staff meetings, offering valuable insights to enhance nursing practices and patient care. Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment was a priority, achieved through regular cleaning and sterilization of medical equipment. I demonstrated compassion by providing emotional support to patients' families and facilitating clear communication regarding their loved one's conditions. Additionally, I administered medications to effectively manage symptoms and improve patient outcomes.
