In my current role my duties include carrying out fixed wire testing (EICRS) to a very high standard and electrical installation and remedial work to BS7671 and then accuratly filling out all the required documentation - EICRs, EICs, MWCS, in all types environments - Domestic, Commercial, Industrial including Hospitals, Military Bases, Care homes, Housing of multiple occupancies (HMO's)

Carrying out Fire alarm installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance to BS5839 standards and completing all the required documentation. Also writing a checklist for other engineers to follow to carry out weekly fire checks for clients

Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of emergency light and emergency lighting systems to BS5266 standards in all types of environments

From portable and fixed appliance testing (PAT and FAT), electrical installation condition reports (EICRS), all types of electrical installation including containment work and BMS, panel, control and motors wiring and installation. This was carried out in various environments from new build house developments, hospitals to industrial units and factories

My duties also included carrying out audits on various sub contractors to make sure the work they carried out met my high standard and expectations over various projects including working on Southmead hospital and large LED lighting upgrades in several school and industrial units.

Over the years I was also asked by others in the industry to help train apprentices and electrical improvers focusing on their skill enhancement.
