Profile

My three main passion for the majority of my life have been Football, Music and Gaming. This originated from my dad due to the fact he introduced these to me from a young age. I've played Football since I was 6 and even managed to compete at academy level when I was 8; however due to moving to Germany my passion to play slowly drifted towards Technology and music. This has allowed me to attend many concerts and tech events which I still frequently attend to this day.

Future career goals and achievements

  • I'm currently studying towards earning my C+ certificate in my personal time allowing me to become qualified to work at an entry level job for cyber security related positions.
  • Going forward id love to begin a career in software development or cyber security. A big part of what appeals to me in software development and cyber security has always been the use of code. I find it fascinating how what might look like just a bunch of numbers repeated continuously on the surface, once you learn what that pattern means and the intention it's trying to act upon, it opens a whole new world of things to discover within IT. A particular type of code I want to work with is Python; Mainly due to the fact it's being heavily used in working on AI and I hope one day this opportunity leads me into that said goal. I've chosen the apprenticeship route because I feel on hand learning and experience in the IT world is far more useful than going to college/university just to end up with the same no working environment experience. I feel like more people who want to be introduced to IT should take the same route I have taken if they wish to develop a career in an alternative way than traditional education.
