I am a highly motivated and proactive member of the Course Maintenance Department at Loch Lomond Golf Club, currently undertaking a Golf Course Management Diploma through SRUC Elmwood. This academic pursuit complements my practical experience and reflects my ongoing commitment to professional development within the greenkeeping industry.
Before joining the golf course maintenance team, I earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Environmental Management and Sustainability at the Scottish Agricultural College. This strategic educational choice allowed me to gain a strong understanding of the Scottish landscape and its environmental challenges, laying a solid foundation for a career in high-level sports turf management.
My goal is to become an innovative and forward-thinking leader in the greenkeeping profession, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning and collaboration. I am particularly interested in expanding my knowledge of international best practices in turf management and applying them to deliver world-class playing conditions.
With a strong foundation in environmental principles, a growing leadership skill set, and a willingness to learn from every opportunity, I am well-prepared to make a lasting contribution to the future of golf course management.
