Key Responsibilities
Blood and Specimen Collection: Perform venepuncture, skin puncture, and sometimes arterial blood collection to obtain samples for medical testing, transfusions, research, or donations
Patient Preparation and Care: Greet and identify patients, explain procedures, assess physical condition, and help patients feel calm and comfortable during collection
