As the IT/Data Manager Specialist for six Accident & Emergency sites across UHSussex, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT A&E PAS system, managing departmental IT functions, and ensuring optimal performance for the Emergency Care Data Set (ECDS). My role involves system configurations, upgrades, and supplier relations, with a strong focus on optimizing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and implementing technology solutions to enhance service delivery. As the ED Application Lead for Worthing and St Richard's Hospitals, I successfully led the implementation of the Symphony and CareFlow systems within the Trust, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and deliverables. My role involved maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and external organizations to ensure project success.

As the Trauma Network Lead, I was responsible for analysing and inputting patient data into a national database for all individuals presenting with traumatic injuries. My role included extracting and filtering data to ensure high levels of compliance with national standards scoring >95% on data accreditation. Additionally, as the IT Lead for A&E, I was frequently tasked with carrying out various IT functions to support colleagues and ensure seamless departmental operations.
