I began here in September 2022 as a waitress and bartender. I built my skills in developing a high-quality service in a busy, premium dining environment. I later progressed into a managerial role, taking on the responsibilities of organising the team, training new team members, handling reservations of small and large parties and maintaining this standard. I have helped with the planning and organising key events such as Christmas, Mothers/Fathers day, Valentines day etc. Ensuring it ran smoothly and created a memorable experience for guests.
I've also helped run the social media channels for our restaurant, boosting customer engagement and promoting special events. I pride myself in staying calm under pressure, solving problems efficiently but most importantly leading by example and motivating my team to provide the best service at all times.
I was employed here as a Waitress starting in October 2021, This is where I had learnt most of my key skills in working in hospitality. I Showcased extensive knowledge of menu items, heightened customer decision making and also Maintained a clean and organised dining area for customer comfort. I also helped out in summer party's we would have which were sponsored by our suppliers such as Aperol Sprits and Moet & Chandon.
I first started this job in March 2020, I started out working in the kitchen helping organise prep for busy evenings and assisting as a Kitchen Porter at the age of 15. I worked throughout the whole of lockdown here which helped me learn a lot of new different skills for example working the restaurant on my own but also working great as a team when we had our first opening after lockdown and provide great service to our guests.
