I'm a kind and caring individual with a strong enthusiasm for a role in which I can make a difference to young people's lives. I previously worked as an Apprentice Optical Assistant, where I had the pleasure of working with children from age 2 through to the elderly. Unfortunately the job wasn't offering me the caring role that I'd anticipated as it was more sales and target driven. The part of the day I enjoyed the most was when children came in between 3-5pm. Therefore, I would like to move away from a sales based role to a more nurturing role where I can help young children grow and develop.
I demonstrate exceptional empathy, understanding, and nurturing qualities, ensuring comfort and reassurance for all children. I have some knowledge of safeguarding procedures and special educational needs, with an encouraging attitude that inspires trust. I possess excellent organisational and communication skills, complemented by ICT proficiency and resourceful creativity. I'm committed to respecting diversity and being a positive team member, with a career goal of fostering inclusive educational environments.
