I am currently a student at the University of Chester studying Undergraduate Biomedical Sciences. My work experience is varied and has taught me a wide range of skills, but has ultimately grown my enthusiasm for working with people. This includes working as a Healthcare Assistant in a home-care company, a kitchen assistant in a chain restaurant and an assistant in an Elderly Care Home. I am a very sociable, friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking individual. Maintaining good rapport with coworkers and/or patients flows smoothly with my character, timemanagement and respect are important standards I uphold myself to.
My work experience has taught me how to be part of a team, keep calm and organised in stressful, fast paced moments, to care and connect with vulnerable adults and individuals and as well as work independantly through shifts. Especially through my healthcare experience I have learnt first-hand the importantce of autonomy, respect and patience with individuals. I have worked first-hand as an independent carer and with other carers, with a range of different individuals with different needs. I have experience in handling personal care, safely maneuvering and repositioning individuals, medication administration and friendly dialogue that caters to each unique individual.
I am looking for a people-oriented work, I love interacting with people and have thoroughly enjoyed my care experience. I am enthusiastic, and friendly however always prioritize making nidividuals feel comfortable, heard and encouraged to engage. I am looking for part-time job that I can have during university terms, I am very flexible to work during the week and am free during weekends.
