I am organised and work well within a team but can work independently when needed. I'm not afraid to ask if I don't understand something, and have the ability to learn new tasks quickly and effectively.
I have good communication skills and I am very friendly and approachable.
I have 6 months experience in hospitality and have the ability to keep calm during busy periods. I found this useful in my previous role as I was able to ensure the customers still had a positive and enjoyable experience.
I joined Bolton council volunteering as a play worker with children aged 4-12 years. This experience allowed me to improve my organisational skills as well as communication skills, being able to take instructions from all levels and build good working relationships with colleagues, children and parents.
Whilst volunteering at the play centre, I also began helping with local events within my community as a volunteer alongside the council. I have helped with events held at Egerton Park, helping with stalls and participating in activities with young people. I have delivered leaflets for local councillors and still continue to help with Christmas events.
All of these opportunities have given me the chance to work with and spend time with a variety of people of all ages, which shows that I am motivated and committed to the activities I partake in.
