Furniture Maker

Completed each process of furniture making from milling the raw timber to applying finishes.


  • Precise milling of timber using planer/thicknesser. Glue ups of panels using jointers. Ripping, trimming using dimension, rip and mitre saw. Profiling using variety of routers or spindle moulder. Sanding using belt sander, orbital sander or hand sanding. Precise work using hand tools. Stained products to a high quality using hard-wax and water-based dyes. Tool maintenance. And finally packaging.
  • I also was part of the process of aiding the designer with new products.
  • Responsible for the timeline of products to ship on time.

  • Coppicing wood, steam bending, shaping and intricate tying.

  • Spent time working the roof and installing skylight.
