Throughout my educational career, I have focused on learning that integrates creative problem-solving, group work, and fostering creative thinking in a way that enables collaborative learning among students and encourages personal communication that creates openness and compassion for those around us.
As a teacher of agriculture and ecology, I emphasise the importance of global thinking on environmental issues and the need for creative solutions to the complex problems we face in this field, as a means of making the world a better place. In my role as a woodworking teacher, I encourage students to unleash their imagination and creativity while assisting in the development of their motor skills, development of planning and design abilities and integration of mathematical knowledge. Simultaneously, I integrate digital literacy into hands-on activities using design software, laser cutting, and 3D modelling.
Through problem/Project-Based Learning (PBL), I incorporate hands-on activities with tangible and meaningful outcomes for students, the community, and society, alongside digital literacy and knowledge acquisition in various domains. I specialise in creating and implementing game-based learning as a method for delivering educational and social content As part of the learning process, I diversify activities using ODT games to encourage social-emotional learning (SEL).
I have accumulated extensive experience in teaching students of various ages and diverse populations. In addition, I have a lot of experience in the field of outdoor teaching and creating appropriate educational content. I combine all this experience in guiding teachers to develop relevant learning in a way that encourages curiosity, independent learning, collaboration and other skills relevant to students and teachers in the 21st century.
