  • I am now back working at the Park Hospital in Operating Theatres as a Theatre Practitioner on the Scrub side. Since my return to the Park, I have been able to regain my knowledge and skill for scrubbing for most of the specialities. I have also had the opportunity to work alongside the Ophthalmic and ENT Lead, From whom, learning more into the specialities and how it is run at the Park Hospital. I have had the past 24 years been involved in Ophthalmic, so I have a very good knowledge and experience to bring to the post.
  • From October 2024 until February 2026, I have had a fixed term contract of Senior for Ophthalmic, ENT, and Maxilla Facial. During which time I have been coordinating our busy diaries, looking after the Consultants and ensuring we can provide the equipment and consumables for the planned lists.

  • As a Senior Lead Scrub Nurse, I worked in many clinics around the country doing the Lens replacement surgery also the Laser eye surgery. I trained our new nurses coming into the company giving full induction training for nurses who had experience as well as those who were new to surgery. During my time there we set up the Theatre Lead Committee from the Senior nurses throughout the Regions, this group was used to assess and improve our service and the journey of our patients. From the findings of the committee, we were able to find and make improvements to the service to our Patients.
